What is it?
The Gobal Media Forum (GMF) is a global conference for media development organized by Deutsche Welle, Germany’s public international broadcaster. The GMF attracts journalists, media managers, tech experts, NGO representatives, artists, entrepreneurs, scientists, civil servants and politicians to discuss the role of the media in a globalized world. To foster interdisciplinary exchange, GMF offers a wide range of panel discussions, workshops, networking sessions, interactive presentations and exhibitions. The forum’s twelvth edition takes place under the motto ‘Shifting powers’. Visitors from approximately 100 nations will join the two days lasting forum.
